Abstract: The aim of this article is to contribute in highlight socio-cognitive constituting the decisionmakers'in order to grasp the mechanisms driving to seniors' integration or exclusion. Thisapproach is based on the analysis of the ‘cognitive maps' test built on the deciphering of theinterview inputs given by 28 executives of companies in the sector of old people services. Itis about contextualizing the practices of the age managing from analysis of its direct effects:virtuous, depraved or contradictory. This in order to define a transitional age model where thedynamics of the seniors' integration and exclusion are taken into account.
