Abstract: The aim of this research is to identify the process for selecting indicators to measure performance by management of a private care system. In this context, performance measurement often poses difficulties in terms of choice of indicators and respond to needs and expectations of users. The development of a set of management seems to be a delicate exercise. To do this, action research was conducted in a private care system and more particularly at the primary responsibility. This analysis has allowed us to find that the construction of indicators conducted in a clinic is characterized by a slow and discontinuous process, a depth analysis and research of information.
