Abstract:
Since the beginning of 1980s, the researchers studied the relation between information technology (IT) and organizational performance. The results of their jobs led to different conclusions. To identify better the contributions of IT, a synthesis of literature allowed us to identify six approaches that trace the path from IT investments to business value.
