Abstract: Egyptian Agriculture faces a worrying situation, despite the promises of the Aswan High Dam : agricultural output doesn't match the population growth, reclaimed desert la,ds don't produce what was expected, the cooperative system set up 20 years earlier is in crisis, with the liberty granted to rich farmers.
