Abstract: Nef (a fair financial cooperative) is preparing in association with Banca Etica and Fiare the creation of the European Ethical Bank. The small french fair financial cooperative is carrying out a double level change becoming an autonomous bank within a European scope. This new organization fill a gap left vacant by the trivialization of the traditional cooperative banks. As part of a process analysis, our discussion focus on the dynamic of proximity through mobile banker and on the uniqueness and fragility of its original business model. We update the components (such as social compact, type and form of membership, economic and regulatory environment, etc.) that induce the sequence of the steps of the on-going process of the Nef and its possible junctions.
