Abstract:
In order to develop in the Chinese market, many French MNCs have established partnerships with Chinese companies. Business practice shows that the performance achieved through cooperation often provides mixed results. In this chapter, we will discuss the benefits of Franco-Chinese partnerships. First of all, we will examine the attractiveness of the Chinese market for French multinational companies, and the development of partnerships between French MNCs and Chinese companies. Then, we will examine the benefits of these partnerships for both French and Chinese companies. Finally, we will discuss how Chinese authorities have adapted to the presence of MNCs in China
