Abstract:
Management Skills in Algeria: an analysis of professionals and students Discourse. - Despite the educational reforms undertaken by the Algerian government in 2004, Algeria recorded in 2010 a worrying rate of graduates unemployment, a brain drain to countries offering more satisfying conditions of training, research and jobs. As a result a growing frustration is reflected in the press, blogs and social networks. We present the first phase of an exploratory research on the representation of management skills in Algeria by young graduates and professionals. From a questionnaire survey of 48 respondents, our first results allow us to present the situation and advance some recommendations on education and public management skills in Algeria.
