Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to focus on the representation of employee and manager behaviour at work in the changing context of cuban management. New generations are looking for more empowerment and a commitment in order to promote social and managerial innovations. In addition, data from a qualitative study in the tourism sector examine emerging mutations in the workplace even if some inertia is still current. The implications of the findings, both theoretical and practical are discussed in a present and future perspective for HR management in Cuba.
