Abstract: This article describes the situation of Latin American Studies in Sweden. It is based on the reflections that the authors gave as answers to twenty questions, which focus on the main axes of Latin American research made in the Scandinavian country. Such answers are complemented by a large bibliography that includes journals which have Latin America as their main issue, as well as PhD dissertations that have been written in Swedish universities and which have Latin America as their main subject.
