Abstract:
Heritage, Tourism and Sustainable Territorial Development in the Algerian Sahara : The Case of Tassili n'Ajjer. Tassili n'Ajjer has a rich heritage whose valorisation through tourism generated an activity which is in a slow but real progress. The dynamism of this activity is mainly based on its organization as a businesses' network, which mobilize the aboriginal community of Touareg nomads. The stakes of this activity relate to the local economy and heritage preservation. This paper aims to analyse the relationship between tourism and sustainable development within this territory.
