Abstract:
In the 2010s, the world has two "billionaires" countries in number of consumers, India and China, ahead of the other two markets, one common and one national, such as the European Union respectively, half a billion people, and the United States. But these two "billionaires" countries have very different demographic dynamics. Also, after the 2011 Indian census has established the country's population at 1,210 millions average projections envisage an India that was relevant, since the 2030s, more consumers than China. However, India is and will be a very different market than China for many reasons: young population, trends varied by state of the federal state, strong cultural plurality. In addition, the Indian market is strengthened by stimulating its diaspora.
