Une théorie pour l'économie sociale et solidaire ?

Post-Print from HAL
Abstract:
Drawing on a book edited by D. Hiez and E. Lavillunière and titled "Vers une théorie de l'économie sociale et solidaire" (Larcier, 2013), this text questions the conditions enabling such a theory and the very interest of it: should we define in order to theorize, or the reverse? How should we take into account the diversity of views and structurations in the world of what is called SSE (Social and solidarity economy) in France? Should we build a theory or a doctrine of the ESS? Which disciplinary approach would be relevant? Eventually, this text states that the SSE should be submitted to a general theory of the economy within the society, in order to build a specific doctrine of the SSE.
