La hausse des salaires en Chine et au Brésil depuis la crise de 2008

Abstract:
In spite of the turbulences engendered by the last international economic crisis, the Chinese and Brazilian employees still apparently benefit from an increase of their real wages. Nevertheless, it is essential to put in perspective this increase, because figures supplied by the official organisms do not always reflect the reality. Besides, the case of Brazil is radically distinct from that of China, because the evolution of wages comes along with a strong reduction of the disparities on the Brazilian labor market between the qualified and not qualified workers, while in China, these inequalities did not stop growing since the 80's. Above all, in both emerging countries, the visible increase of wages masks the fact that the sharing of added value is very unfavourable to employees, and this situation could penalize strongly the Brazilian and Chinese economic growth in the coming years.
