Abstract: The experiment of the independent income for young graduates illustrates an attempt to reform the financial support to young people under 25 in France. We conducted a qualitative assessment of this experiment to analyse how the financial support by the State meets the needs of young people looking for their first job. We also point out the limits of the experiment.
