Abstract:
Recently, the need to develop a Case Mix Classification System for people with physicals or intellectuals disabilities was placed on the political and institutional agendas (Modernisation de l'Action Publique - Avril 2013, Rapport Inspection Générale des Affaires Sanitaires et Sociales Octobre 2012). We criticize here the Case-Mix Classification system methodology based on pathology and we propose a Case-Mix Classification system based on real resources consumption for the institution. This methodology was applied in an institute called « Institut Médico-Éducatif » which is an institution for young people with physical or intellectual disabilities. We distinguish 9 homogeneous groups
