Faridah Djellal () and Faïz Gallouj

Post-Print from HAL

Abstract: This paper is devoted to a complex issue : the relationship between innovation and employment in services. It is given over to a rereading of the services innovation literature in the light of the employment issue. Our goal is to assess to what extent and in which form this question is implicitly or explicitly raised or deserves to be introduced. This project is both a survey of the national and international literature and a research agenda. One will explore successively the three following topics : 1) technological approaches and the employment issue ; 2) service-oriented approaches and the employment issue ; 3) innovation through services and employment.
