Abstract:
How do European and national incentives to promote the integration of ICT in institutions of higher learning communicate messages of modernization with regard to instructors' working methods? How is this managerial objective perceived given that it is its characteristic of business and government sectors and of their goals of de-compartmentalization, productivity, and innovation? How have actors' representations changed? Our aim is to conduct a sociological study of the appropriation of a professional information culture, taking into account institutional issues, technological considerations, the genesis of uses, and conditions of professionalization.
