Does the Collapse in the Number of Farmers Mean the Death of Agricul-ture In France?

Le nombre des exploitants agricoles s'est effondré. Cela signifie-t-il la mort de l'agriculture en France ?

Abstract: [The development of agriculture in France appears to be final in absolute numbers as data: a very large decline in employment and a very reduced part of the added value of this sector in GDP. Is it the death of agriculture? Further analysis highlights the grow-ing importance of employment generated by agriculture in other economic sectors and its always outstanding contribution to the foreign trade of France.]
