Women's work and family freedom
Travail féminin et liberté familiale

Post-Print from HAL
Abstract:
Everyone talks about the rise of women's work over the last few decades. This expression is, in reality, rather inaccurate in so far as it seems to suggest that women in previous centuries had no laborious activities. What has changed is the measure of women's work and its place in society. First, we must measure and understand this change before studying its consequences.
