Abstract: This article is about change in a membership-based organizations. Change is omnipresent in any kind of structures and has many characteristics depending on the situation. Our case is a microfinance association. Based on thoughtful theoretical foundations , our approach is at the crossroads of organizational practices motivated by actions within the behavior of organizational agents. The aim is to get a better understanding of change with a causalist perspective, a methodology considering the situation in an organizing perspective, and an organizational diagnosis as research method.
