Abstract: The French legislator instituted in 1990 a principle of control of the financial statement for the professional team sport clubs. This system strongly contradicts a guiding principle of the liberal capitalis economies: free management decision and risk accepted by the investors. Currently, we have the possibility to generalize this system in Europe, this article proposes to analyze the practical principles, methods and the assessment of this formula after about 20 years of setting in France.
