Abstract: Coaching entrepreneurs (both creators of new businesses and buyers of existing ones) comprises a varied set of practices. Among these, tutoring and mentoring hold a particularity important place. Studying these two practices allows us to formulate a new approach to entrepreneurial support focused on entrepreneurial coaching, one that reveals the key role of support structures and available services. Based on a literature review of the main kinds of entrepreneurial support, we show that entrepreneurial coaching offers a new theoretical framework for the diverse practices that make up entrepreneurial support.
