Abstract: Faced with the pandemic that spread from China to all continents from the end of 2019, the first consequence has been sanitary in order to limit its deadly effects by protecting populations. The second was economic, since the decisions to confine more than half of the world's populations, at least partially, have led to a recession that has not been seen since the 1929 crisis. These two consequences are the most visible, as they can be quantified by the number of deaths or the reduction in GDP. But they should not mask the geopolitical upheavals of covid-19.
