Abstract:
This paper analyses the elements of compatibility between the fundamentals of ecodevelopment and socio-ecological economics. Indeed, both projects follow parallel historical trajectories and both adopt a heterodox political economy approach with a strong sustainability stance. This twofold congruency makes it possible to consider the combination of these two complementary projects as a basis for a socio-ecological economy of development.
