Abstract:
Local intensive business services (LIBS) refer to activities that are neither export-oriented nor dedicated to local household demand and include activities such as simple or low-technology services for business. Although they are the foundation of local economies, LIBS are still understudied in terms of regional and urban economies. They contribute to urban growth and development and may also contribute to urban resilience.
