Abstract:
This article shows how changes in public policy have led to the marketisation of services provided by associations in the field of disability, through a dual process of marketing and marketisation, which is the result of structural changes in the way the sector is regulated, financed and organised. The marketisation of the service is based on a definition of work and service that is in sharp contrast to the definition used by employees working with people with disabilities in the associations. The article sets out these two ideal-typical conceptions in coexistence and in tension in the associations.
