Abstract:
Purpose – The objective of this paper is to propose a generic contingency approach to a standardized CSR through socio-economic approach to management. Design/methodology/approach – The paper draws on a specific approach to management research referred to as " qualimetrics intervention-research". Findings – The outcome of the research presented in this paper is to propose an innovative approach to CSR which consists in a "Socially Responsible Capitalism". Originality/value – The proposed approach to socially responsible capitalism is not an utopia: the paper presents hands-on tools management tools and concepts which have been experimented in over 1,400 companies in 34 countries.
