Abstract: The six studies presented in this special issue are centered on the theme of regional sustainable development in the North of Africa are independent scientific research endeavors with diverse methodological and theoretical perspectives. These studies are aimed to provide a contemporary perspective with novel empirical findings, and open new research avenues for the scientific community with regard to the improvement of well-being and sustainable development in the North of Africa.
