Abstract:
This workshop serves as a spotlight on the prevailing dysfunctional practices within managerial domains encompassing work teams, hierarchical structures, and organizations. Focused specifically on the intricate web of gender discrimination, its goal is to shed light on these issues. Employing an innovative approach that seamlessly blends collaborative group efforts with expert-led facilitation, the workshop endeavors to construct a comprehensive yet not all-encompassing snapshot of gender-related scenarios within the realm of work. Within the framework of this workshop, participants will collectively sketch a vivid freeze-frame that captures instances of gender dynamics at play and their reverberations across group interactions within organizational contexts. The uniqueness of this endeavor lies in its real-time evolution, where the freeze-frame narrative is continuously enriched by a dynamic infusion of actionable insights. These insights have a dual purpose: firstly, to demystify the intricate phenomena underpinning these challenges, and secondly, to effectively disrupt their perpetuation. By virtue of this innovative fusion of participatory engagement and expert guidance, the workshop endeavors to foster a heightened understanding of the intricate tapestry of gender-related dynamics in professional spheres. In doing so, it aspires to be a catalyst for change, unraveling the threads of discrimination and bias while equipping participants with tangible tools to challenge and dismantle these detrimental patterns.
