Abstract: Based on data from the Global Observatory of Public Support for Agriculture and Food, this article aims to analyze and understand the current functioning of public support, while assessing the extent to which it is effectively oriented towards the promotion of sustainable agricultural systems. Through a political economy analysis of public support, we will show the differences in support and the lack of tools and financed mechanisms to accelerate agricultural transitions at the global level.
