Abstract: The spatial dimension is central to research on school segregation, which has objectified inequalities between schools since the end of the 1980s in France. Beyond this field, the spatial dimension of educational inequalities makes it possible to understand inequalities linked to policies (sectorization, allocation) and student positioning, which depend on their residential location.
