Abstract:
New forms of work have changed the way employees and the self-employed work. The aim of this article is to study perceptions of teleworking, in particular by identifying the link between teleworking and satisfaction. Based on responses to a questionnaire administered in France and Italy as part of the European AlpSatellites project, we identify that telecommuting has little impact on satisfaction generation. However, a more detailed analysis shows that certain components of teleworking play a role in job and life satisfaction.
