Abstract: Health and care systems are subject to logics that are not solely socio-medical. The "health" of the healthcare system is thus dependent on other systems that are themselves interwoven: organizational, economic, scientific, political... This issue of the Cahiers de Systémique brings together contributions on healthcare systems as they are determined by their membership of, and interactions with, other complex systems, whose "health" can be questioned.
