The circular distribution model, supported by collaborative platforms, is transforming consumption patterns by promoting second-hand goods. This study explores consumers' motivations for adopting this more responsible model. Through 23 semi-structured interviews, five key factors emerge: price, environmental awareness, nostalgia, time-saving and a sense of empowerment. These factors reveal a shift towards more sustainable and conscious purchasing choices. Second-hand is no longer a simple economic compromise, but a considered act that redefines the value of products and reinforces consumers commitment to more responsible consumption

Abstract:
La distribution circulaire, soutenue par les plateformes collaboratives, transforme les habitudes de consommation en mettant l'accent sur les produits de seconde main. Cette étude explore les motivations des consommateurs à adopter ce modèle plus responsable. À travers 23 entretiens semi-directifs, cinq facteurs clés émergent : le prix, la conscience environnementale, la nostalgie, le gain de temps et le sentiment d'empowerment. Ces éléments révèlent une évolution vers des choix d'achat plus durables et conscients. Le recours à la seconde main n'est plus un simple compromis économique, mais un acte réfléchi qui redéfinit la valeur des produits et renforce l'engagement des consommateurs envers une consommation plus responsable.
