Abstract:
This article examines the downgrading of young vocational training graduates in Morocco, an issue that has rarely been studied in this country, except for university graduates. Using longitudinal data on the situation three years after graduation, the article shows that the main difficulty is access to employment, with only half of graduates in work at the time of the survey. On the other hand, the extent of downgrading is moderate, affecting about one in five young people. What's more, there are opportunities to catch up and the prospects of getting a job that is not downgraded are real.
