Abstract: Criticism of the intellectual property system has failed to halt the growth in the number of patents, which now apply to objects that were previously considered inappropriate. The text begins by outlining the factors behind this unbelievable extension, focusing on the role played by legal intermediaries in this field. Secondly, it characterizes the emergence of a new intellectual capitalism based on the asymmetry of legal resources. In conclusion, we link the rise of this regime of intangible capital accumulation to new forms of wealth expropriation.
