Abstract:
The operationalisation of an ethical framework for artificial intelligence within an organisation is one of the challenges facing companies in their use of AI systems. Several actions can be taken, including the development of an ethical charter, which is a lever for differentiation. This charter is then implemented through dedicated governance, such as an ethics committee, and through the deployment of practical tools including self-assessment lists, impact studies and maturity grids. Beyond this approach, it is essential to emphasise the importance of internal acculturation, management support for employee training, and the formalisation of the approach through a business process and specific roles such as that of Digital Ethics Officer. Finally, this ethical framework can be promoted through communication to enhance the reputation of the legal entity, consolidate non-financial elements (CSRD), and facilitate the implementation of certain regulatory obligations.
