Abstract:
Regional EI actions are developed within active partnerships between businesses, territorial collectivities and the state administration. These partnerships revolved principally around small scale companies. Their structure and financial capabilities prevent them to access every available information which are essential to the development of their competitiveness. Among these practices, we are particularly interested in Regional EI Devices (REID). Hence, in this paper, we highlight the various EI actors that we identified within REID. This research work is mainly based on a survey carried out between 2005 and 2007 with regards to EI actions and actors employed by these REIDs. We thus highlight seven actions generally put in place by REIDs as well as the emergence of a new territorial EI actor, complementary to the information observer, called coordinator-animator.
