World Inequality Lab Working Papers from HAL

Abstract: In this article, I provide some personal remarks and thoughts on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the publication of Capital in the 21st century (2014) and the fifth anniversary of the publication of Capital and Ideology (2020). I also reflect on the evolution of my work until A Brief History of Equality (2022) and A History of Political Conflict (2025, with J. Cagé). I also provide perspectives on the ongoing transformation of global inequality dynamics.
