Abstract:
Defense Network community has analyzed and prepared in Russian variant all research programs of Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) for 2015 financial year. The programs mainly cover such scientific and technical fields as engineering biology, military medicine, microelectronics, aerospace, tactical, sensor technologies and others. Uniting the core set of biological technologies with the main focus on engineering tools for biology to solve bottleneck problems of national defense and security into a new structural division of DARPA became a key feature of 2014 year. This work covering main contents and expected results of DARPA research programs for 2015 is intended to be useful for acquaintance of executives of federal authorities, research centers and institutes, universities, and hi-tech companies as well as non-profit organizations interested in the topic.
