Abstract: Failure to deliver orders to customers in manufacturing companies is very common. This has generated in the industry a worrying acceptance of non-compliance which has not allowed its development. The present work offers a proposal to improve the production system of a footwear company in Bucaramanga, for which a mixed approach work will be carried out, which is a case study of a non-experimental cross-sectional design with a descriptive scope for determining what type of production problems exist in the company and what are their possible solutions. The results show that the proposed improvement plan will achieve an improvement in the production system and eradicate the culture of non-compliance both in the company and in the industry in general, if it is carried out according to what has been proposed.
