Abstract:
This dataset comprises eight key public health indicators implemented by 26 Small Island Economies (SIEs) worldwide, spanning from January 1, 2020, to April 31, 2021, with some exceptions until October 30, 2021. These measures include restrictions on public gatherings, guidelines for restaurants and bars, school closures, mask-wearing mandates, curfew enforcement, lockdown implementation, as well as restrictions on international and domestic travel. This dataset provides a unique resource for analyzing the effectiveness of public health interventions. It allows for an examination of their impact on various parameters, such as the spread of measures based on political or geographical affiliations, and other indicators related to crisis management in healthcare.
