Abstract:
The advent of Logistics 4.0, driven by Industry 4.0 principles, has significantly transformed supply chain management by integrating advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, blockchain, and robotics. This paper examines the impact of Logistics 4.0 on supply chain performance, focusing on efficiency, agility, visibility, and sustainability. By enabling real-time data exchange, enhanced communication, and predictive analytics, Logistics 4.0 improves decision-making, reduces operational costs, and enhances customer satisfaction. The integration of automated systems and smart warehouses boosts productivity and accuracy, minimizing errors and lead times. Furthermore, blockchain technology enhances transparency and traceability across the supply chain, fostering trust among stakeholders. However, challenges such as high implementation costs, cybersecurity risks, and the need for skilled personnel must be addressed to fully exploit the potential of Logistics 4.0. The findings suggest that companies adopting these technologies can achieve significant improvements in supply chain responsiveness, resilience, and overall performance, making Logistics 4.0 a critical enabler of competitive advantage in the modern supply chain landscape.
