Abstract:
This article examines whether repair is genuinely scaling up in France. It shows that, although recent regulations have strengthened support for repair and encouraged new business models, repair remains uneven, fragile, and still marginal for most product categories. The paper argues that upscaling repair depends not only on financial incentives, but also on stronger regulation, better governance, technical redesign, and broader cultural and organisational support.
