Abstract: This data paper introduces the ExEco Dataset, a comprehensive textual corpus dedicated to the history of French economic and social thought between 1918 and 1960. Comprising 11 major journals from economics and neighboring disciplines (sociology, history, law), the dataset contains nearly 25,000 OCR-processed documents. It captures a pivotal transitional era in French intellectual history, moving from traditional political economy toward professionalized, technocratic economics. Adhering to Open Science and FAIR principles, the corpus provides clean, machine-readable text and highly structured metadata designed to support broad computational approaches in the digital humanities and the history of ideas. The dataset is openly accessible via the Nakala repository and is accompanied by an interactive online dashboard for dynamic metadata exploration.
