Abstract: This study examines the effet of climate finance and green investments on environmental resilience in developing countries (DCs). Facing the climate emergency, these nations, which are particularly vulnerable and have limited financial and technological capacities, require effective mechanisms to strengthen their adaptation and ecosystem conservation efforts. The research mobilizes an integrated theoretical framework, combining theories of socio-ecological resilience, endogenous growth, and sustainability, to analyze how these investments can create positive feedback loops between economic development and environmental preservation.Methodologically, the study proposes an econometric modeling based on the STIRPAT (Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence and Technology) model, estimated using the system Generalized Method of Moments (GMM-system) on panel data. The ND-GAIN vulnerability and adaptability index is used as a proxy for environmental resilience, while climate-related ODA and investments in renewable energy measure climate finance and green investments, respectively. The empirical analysis, covering a large sample of DCs, aims to quantify the ecological elasticity of these factors and to test the heterogeneity of their effects depending on the countries' resilience level. The expected results aim to inform policymakers on the most effective mechanisms for allocating climate financial resources, by identifying the transmission channels and necessary governance conditions to promote sustainable growth and strengthen the resilience of socio-ecological systems in DCs.
