Abstract: This study is the continuation of a research carried out in USA about the low wage workers. It is coordinated in France by the Cepremap and developed at the same time in four other European countries (Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) for six industries. This report underlines the characteristics and main trends of the French Hotel Industry, the international competition, local pressure and the managers' strategies.
