Working Papers from HAL

Abstract: This report is addressed as a story from three different angles: How have competitive economical, technical and social conditions, critical events, changed in the hotel industry? What is housekeeper job quality really like, is it temporary job or sideline with no prospects for a captive labor force? How have firms' strategies affected the quality of work, in terms of working conditions and career ladders, for example depending on the choice of directly managing or subcontracting room cleaning?
