Abstract: 本研究の目的は，リスクを伴う選択に際して社会的勢力感がいかなる影響を及ぼすのかを実験によって検証することである．実験の結果から，次の2つの知見が明らかになった．第1に，社会的勢力感の高い個人はリスク愛好的な選択を行いやすくなった．第2に，社会的勢力感の低い個人は，リスクに対して単純に回避的な反応を示すのではなく，むしろリスク中立的な反応を示す傾向を強めた．, From recent social psychological researches, it is revealed that power have various influences on human cognition, affect, and behavior. This paper aim at revealing how a sense of social power affects decision under uncertainty. Specifically, it is predicted that (1) those who have social power prefer to risky alternatives, and (2) the powerless individual tend to be risk-neutral, not risk-aversive. To verify these hypotheses, the author conducts an experiment, in which 86 MBA students participates. To manipulate a sense of power, participants recall and write down about their personal events. Then, they undertake decision-making task as a measure of risk preference. The results supported above predictions.
