Abstract: Die vorliegende Analyse setzt sich das Ziel, den Export als Bestimmungsfaktor für den Arbeitseinsatz wirtschaftstheoretisch zu begründen und empirisch zu identifizieren. Darüber hinaus soll untersucht werden, ob im Zeitverlauf möglicherweise unterschiedliche Reaktionsmuster zwischen der Exportentwicklung und der Beschäftigung existieren und worauf diese Unterschiede zurückgeführt werden können. Die Untersuchung der Arbeitsplatzdynamik wird auf Basis von Betriebspaneldaten durchgeführt.
